Arya Babbar, a very well known face in film industry was born on 24th may,1984 to parents Raj Babbar(Father) and Nadira Babbar(Mother) in Mumbai.
Arya belongs to a very repudiated family as his father is an renowned actor and ex-poltician while his mother is also a famous and talented theatre and film actress. His friends call him and has two siblings, Juhi Babbar(Sister) and Prateek Babbar(half brother).
Arya is also in a relation with Shrishti Nayyar. Being hailed from an acting background Arya was naturally inclined towards film industry. 2002 was the year when this actor started his Bollywood journey with his debut film ‘Ab Ke Baras’ opposite to Amrita Rao but unfortunately film was failed to hit the blockbuster though he got nominated for the Most Promising Newcomer-Male at the Star Screen Awards.
After giving some unsuccessful films like ‘Mudda’ , ‘Thoda Tum Badlo Thoda Hum’ in his short career he got opportunity to work with the trustworthy personalities and jewels of Bollywood like Mani Ratnam , Madhu Bhandarkar , Vikram Bhatt etc..
In 2007 he starred in a foreign collaborated film ‘Partition’ which was based on partition of India and this film was nominated at foreign awards function like Genie awards.
After the success of Virsa he acted in many other successful Punjabi films like ‘Yaar Anmulle’ , ‘Jatts In Golmaal’ and now his plate is loaded with many Punjabi films. Recently Arya won the National award of the Journalist Association for the next upcoming actor in Action.
Arya is also fond of writing and has shown his writing skills in a comic book ‘Pushpak Viman’.
