Synopsis: Rangeelay is the story of a group of recovery agents – Sunny (Jimmy), Titli (Binnu) and Shotgun (Rana), Sunny being their leader. He falls in love with a girl, Simi (Neha Dhupia) who is cool, sexy, arrogant and a carefree girl. She likes life to be daring and challenging and doesn’t believe in love. She is not a girl who will easily fall for any man. Sunny tries and tries hard to get Simi.
The duo of Dheeraj Rattan and Navniat Singh always charm their masses with their celluloid but, unfortunately, ‘Rangeelay’ could not carry their monopoly forward.
The movie has Bollywood Actress Neha Dhupia in lead role but she seem to be a fit portray for Punjabi Cinema.
The movie begins on a low note with a group of three madcap recovery agents, Sunny(Jimmy Shergill), Titli(Binu Dhillon) and Shortgun (Rana Ranbir) running a finance company.
Jaswinder Bhalla impressed the audience as always and Shivender Mahal also played his role well but it is true that a big star caste cannot always save the movie. A great script is the master of all the aces.Whereas Jaidev’s music was able to create a mesmerizing impact on audience with tracks like ‘yaara tu’,‘headache’ and ‘boliyan’.
According to me, the movie is average and will not be able to attract audiences to cineplexes for long.
